I’m Stachua Rainville, the owner of Above the Board Carpentry, and carpentry is in my blood. Coming up as the third generation in a family of carpenters, so it was only natural that I would move up in the field. I have spent the last 20 years learning the trade in-depth, and have built an honest and successful business from it.

Coming from a general contractor background has taught me the valuable lesson of understanding the “bones” of a structure. A good business, home, or common building starts from the ground floor. At Above The Board Carpentry we create custom epoxy flooring systems, epoxy countertops, and decorative concrete overlay systems that elevate your space to the next level. I intimately understand how a space can come together to fit your style, brand, or vision.

Having robust experience in the world of general construction, I am able to quickly assess and address any surprises or complications that may arise when completing your custom project. We like being able to keep your project moving forward and in a professional timely manner. Think of us as a one stop shop for all your renovation needs during a project. 

We work strictly with Elite Crete products for all of our flooring applications. We are certified Elite Crete installers and continually increase our knowledge of new products and systems that become available. We make it a point to become experts in our areas of focus and will gladly explain why we use Elite Crete products and how these product, paired with our expertise, can save you time and money when it comes to epoxy and decorative concrete.
